Winds of change!!!!!

Change is by far the hardest thing to embrace no matter how much you need it, it’s still the hardest element to consciously access. But they always blow by continuously and they do get a lot harder to ignore as you get older! Change when embraced is very liberating in many elements.

My lessons in gearing for change have been,  follow your heart and if you don’t know where your heart is try and find it, be still find a quiet place and search yourself! Once you do you will have a whole new appreciation for yourself and a whole new outlook on things. Before if I felt inadequate I hide myself and I conformed to the desires of society and in doing so I lost parts of me, thankfully I have seen the light, you are who you are embrace yourself don’t be ashamed or afraid, dare to be different dare to stand up for all that you are. Never hide your light under a pot. Who you are will always fight to come out and shine. Never be afraid of change never be afraid of what you don’t know, life is a journey and how far will you go if you are too afraid to take a step out and travel?

“The only thing constant in life is change” this saying should always be remembered as it is true, life will always bring changes about in your life so always be prepared for change. The wind of change
Blows straight into the face of time, like a storm wind that will ring the freedom bell for peace of mind!

So I have not been writing much and I just felt I should explain myself I have been major league busy (the diamond is in the furnace) I have been doing a lot of personal development and I have been working on a big move, probably the biggest move of my life and the ultimate test of how prepared I am to stand up for what I believe in and not settle for less. I’m just making sure I practise what I preach!

2012 looks set to be amazing from where I sit I have finally learnt a few things, I have become less needy emotionally and I’m trusting myself a whole lot more which is great, I’m no longer afraid to be alone and when I need courage I look inside me and I turn to God and that has been my salvation. This year I didn’t have any new year’s resolutions mainly because I never follow mine and also because this year for me is about action so I’m being and not just saying! I know you’re probably thinking heck it’s only been a month, 11 more to go but because I’m fulfilling my hearts desires I’m pretty sure I will stick to my guns and because they not listed down there is no pressure, that usually brings one to fail.

So this year I’ll be overextending myself (as usual) but not too much everything within reason. But I have so many exciting projects lined up its going to be a year with a difference; I just love my current outlook on things even on a crapy day I still have a reason to smile! My heart this year is drawn to children, I nearly died of heartache when I saw a documentary about three infants dying of hunger is South Africa. This was just insane, how long did those little angels go hungry for them to actually die and what a painful way to go for an innocent life! This shattered me to the core, needless to say I didn’t have it in me to watch it to the end but it got me thinking how many are suffering the same fate in my own backyard? How many times are we wasteful and ignorant to the fact that many go without on a regular basis? I am making one public resolution (you are all accountable for ensuring I do something about this) My resolution is to actively make a change concerning children dying of hunger, I will be going across the country surveying the actual situation on the ground and I will raise awareness on the subject and I will hopefully save a few lives!

Yes I am pretty tied up, but I will check in every so often so you know if I’m progressing or not. Do one thing for me, take hold of your lives and understand that this is your life and you make it what it is, if you’re unhappy only you can fix it, if you’re unfulfilled only you can change that, your life is what you make it out to be! So make your life memorable and be alive and live!

The house always wins

I had a conversation the other day with a good friend of mine and he said with God I believe the house always wins. That statement got me thinking in a whole new light how many times have we stopped and considered that the entire earth is Gods house? And in all our struggles against the devil have we ever considered that we have a home advantage? This statement was an eye opener because, how often do we under estimate God and the power we have been given by his grace we have seen his love first hand.

It is always refreshing when a simple statement renews your faith from a whole new light. I was empowered by just a statement and I had to share, so you see things differently. How often are we taught of having dominion and yet we have had no idea of what it is, no real understanding that we are the children of God made in his own likeness and loved and protected by him. Realise that you’re worth more than gold and that the earth is the lords footstool so know that the “house always wins” .Use your home court advantage to live life to the fullest and know the God we serve is mighty beyond words.

All about a woman!

When she is quiet, millions of things are running through her mind. When she is not arguing she is thinking deeply. When she stares at you, she is wondering why she loves you so much in spite of being taken for granted. When she calls you every day, she wants to know how you are doing. When she texts you every day, she wants you to reply at least once. When she says I love you she really means it.

When she says I miss you no one in this world can miss you more than her. When she says I will stand by you, she will stand by you like a rock. Ladies are very special, they are said to be the 8^th wonder. They are always a priceless treasure. Always know your worth and look in the mirror and smile like the treasure you are!

A different me!

I was comfortable with being hurt and broken I was ok hiding my feelings and wearing a clowns face until the true discomfort set in. I became as uncomfortable as is possible I couldn’t ignore my heart I could not continue on ignoring the desperate cry of my spirit. I had to stop and take a moment and dig deep in me and discover what was wrong.

A statement I heard that helped me understand where I was in life was; “where love is lost your ghost is found” this statement hit me like a tonne of bricks and I figured it out, in our pursuit of love we change we give up ourselves for the good of the relationships we compromise so much that we lose ourselves we forget our values, our hopes and dreams and we pursue this new partnership whole heartedly without considering the cost nor do we value the income against the cost to understand the worth of such an investment. Usually in such cases you hit a rock and there you find “your ghost” where you were in life before this relationship, your hopes and dreams your values and life objectives this is the point when discomfort sets and if you’re fortunate enough you make a change in your life.

Now I was fortunate enough to make such a discovery and as such I have been implementing some much needed changes in my life and refocusing it on my values and dreams. It is always wise to invest in yourself and build towards becoming the best you and in so doing you will naturally attract the right people in your life instead of going through life anxiously trying to find the right one, when in actual fact your constant longing repels the right one. I urge you to take minute to evaluate your life what is important? What are you investing in? Do you put yourself first ever? If not you need to before you find yourself in a position that is unfavourable, and beside your worthy of the time effort and most importantly the investment. I am working on a different me an upgraded model!
